This must be in the form "n.n". The major and minor versions are positive decimal integers and are separated by a period. Drivers should not format this as a real number with a decimal point. The driver version should not to be confused with the InterfaceVersion property, which is the version of this specification supported by the driver.

Note: client applications should NOT treat this as a real number with a decimal point, it is a string containing two integers with a separator character. Take care when parsing this string, as a culture-sensitive parser may be confused by the period; Specify InvariantCulture if necessary.
