ICameraV3AbortExposure Method

Aborts the current exposure, if any, and returns the camera to Idle state.

ExceptionCondition
MethodNotImplementedExceptionIf CanAbortExposure is false.
InvalidOperationExceptionThrown if abort is not currently possible (e.g. during download).
NotConnectedExceptionThrown If the device is not connected.
DriverExceptionAn error occurred that is not described by one of the more specific ASCOM exceptions. Include sufficient detail in the message text to enable the issue to be accurately diagnosed by someone other than yourself.
Remarks

May throw a MethodNotImplementedException exception if CanAbortExposure is false.

NOTES:

  • Must throw exception if camera is not idle and abort is unsuccessful (or not possible, e.g. during download).
  • Must throw exception if hardware or communications error occurs.
  • Must NOT throw an exception if the camera is already idle.
