Remarks

For AVI files this is usually the FourCC identifier of the codec- e.g. XVID, DVSD, YUY2, HFYU etc. If the recorded video file doesn't use codecs an empty string must be returned.

Exceptions

PropertyNotImplementedException	Must throw exception if not implemented.
NotConnectedException	If the device is not connected
DriverException	An error occurred that is not described by one of the more specific ASCOM exceptions. Include sufficient detail in the message text to enable the issue to be accurately diagnosed by someone other than yourself.
