VideoCameraFrameRate FrameRate { get; }

Property Value

VideoCameraFrameRate

Remarks

Must be implemented, must not throw an ASCOM.PropertyNotImplementedException.

Analogue cameras run in one of the two fixed frame rates - 25fps for PAL video and 29.97fps for NTSC video. Digital cameras usually can run at a variable frame rate. This value is for information purposes only and cannot be set. The FrameRate has the same value during the entire operation of the device. Changing the IntegrationRate property may change the actual variable frame rate but cannot change the return value of this property.

Exceptions

NotConnectedExceptionIf the device is not connected
DriverExceptionAn error occurred that is not described by one of the more specific ASCOM exceptions. Include sufficient detail in the message text to enable the issue to be accurately diagnosed by someone other than yourself.
